It’s a free sample of some coffee.  And these were yummy too!

Contented with my simple life

I told my son that when I was a kid I hardly enjoyed my kiddy life. I had few toys, I seldom visit the city, and whenever my family will be out, everyone needs to walk miles in reaching the main street. Also, I seldom eat delicious foods from the restaurants or from fast food chains. Even though my life was like that but I wasn’t complaining. Though there were times that I need to roll over the side walk in order for my parents to buy a plastic doll for me, but then, that was it. When I was a kid, I was contented with my simple life in the mountains.

Noble profession

I do respect those people who are working in the medical fields because their jobs are not ordinary. Just imagine when they will risk themselves in taking care of those who are ill with certain diseases or those who are assigned in emergency rooms, or perhaps those who are assigned in ICU trauma unit.

Speaking of trauma unit, my cousin works as a nurse in one of the hospitals in CA! I asked her if it’s not that scary or anything, she answered me that her only choice is to work as a nurse because that’s her call to serve her God. Even if there are days that she seemed to give up but she said that she needs to keep on going to serve those patients that needs her case. Also, wearing nursing uniforms every day will make her proud and will encourage her to be good with her job because it’s a sign of having a noble profession.

Anyway, since she needs to purchase additional uniform and doesn’t have much time in having a shopping at her favorite stores, I just gave her the http://www.blueskyscrubs.com website so that she can easily do her online shopping whenever she needs to.

A cute tulle wreath for Hallloween

Guest post written by Courtney Sercy

As far as holiday wreaths go, I’m so over the traditional stuff. I think that it’s so much more fun to make wreaths out of other things than just fake leaves and branches. So for my Halloween wreath, I decided to get way more creative.

But I definitely needed some inspiration for that. I looked online to see what I could find and while I was doing that, I came across some info on internet and cable packages. I looked through it a little more and after that I decided to change over my home service to one of the packages that I saw on there.

I found a really cute idea for a Halloween tulle wreath and it just looks so much more Halloween-y than some little traditional wreath with some Halloween-y looking things attached to it. I also use my leftover stuff to make a little matching wreath for my back door. I know that hardly anyone will see the back door wreath in comparison to the one on the front door, but it’s nice to look at while I take out the trash.

Being passionate

Being passionate about something is the seed for a successful endeavor. Passion goes beyond monetary and temporal rewards, it fuels one’s drive to get out of mediocrity and soar to greater heights.

Little knit hat for spring

Guest post written by Kathleen Dowden

I love spring fashion, but what I don’t love about it is that I always have to worry about layering spring fashions until late April. But you do what you have to do so that you wear what you want, or at least you do if you’re me. I really like to change up the colors of my clothing in brighter colors that are springier. But one thing that I do need is a little knit cap that will keep my head warm without looking too wintery.

I picked up crochet over the holidays by watching videos on my internet from http://www.satelliteinternetbroadband.com/ and decided that I could make a spring knit hat. I bought some yarn in a bright teal color and I’m going to try my hand at crocheting a hat out of it. I found this really cool pattern out of one of my crochet instructional books and I think that it will be really good for spring. It’s a little looser of a pattern anyway so it won’t be as warm as a regular winter hat but just enough to be practical.
