TIKES
September 1, 2009In the grocery, we usually visit the toy section for some cheap gifts for our baby boy. And the last time we went there, we showed him the TOY STORY collectibles, he seems okay for that toy but it’s a bit expensive for a big WOODY doll and the BUZZ light years. We then went to the hot wheel section wherein we showed him if he likes any of those available tiny toy cars, but he said NO. We pointed the big hot wheels but he said loudly the word NO. He then shouted TIKES. When we get near the TIKES car, he’s so happy when we handed it to him. Though, he already had the small little TIKES toy car together with his DVD. Anyway, with the new big TIKES that we bought seems there’s one thing that’s lacking! The new TIKES that we purchased lack one door. Though we’re not sure if it’s one or two doors since the box didn’t indicate if it has two! We’ll just have to find it out on our next shopping! We’ll surely check if this toy has two doors or just one door! Hmmm!

One of the first pairs of shoes that my baby has! And I’m keeping this so that he will see it when he will grow big. Perhaps he can figure out how cute he was when he’s still a baby!
Watching cars again
June 29, 2009Right now, baby and I are watching Cars again. I played his DVD since he is holding lots of his Cars’ collections. So, I presumed that he misses watching this show. And right now, he is just behaving, lying down on his sofa bed and trying to repeat the words from Cars characters. He is also laughing and giggling with the episodes.
Being a mother is not easy for her
November 25, 2008The first time she mixed food for her baby, it just goes to the trash since her baby is sleeping. When her baby is awake, she then mixed another food. But since its soft cooked rice mixed with turkey-vegetables, her baby is hiding to avoid from eating the foods. She’s so mad and angry! Nothing she can do about it for even if she forced her baby to eat, her baby is crying. So, she mixed another food. This time it’s banana and cereal. Her baby eat all of it and of course with changing from one channel to another and from DVD to another. She said being a mother is not easy that even she will receive the highest compensation in the world; it can’t pay for all the effort that she exerted in taking good care of her baby and everything.

When a mother takes a nap :))
November 10, 2008When a baby will get a popper and a mother is quiescent for she’s taking a short nap, she should stand up quickly. This is to avoid being hit when a baby will play with it. With the ball, cups, stuffed toys and other small toys, it’s just okay for a mother to continue her nap. Oh, there is one more thing, when a baby will get that big red toy car; she also needs to stand up quickly. So, that when a baby will throw that big toy car around, she will avoid herself not to acquire bruises and BOTOYS. He-he-he! Well, this mother took a nap for more than 30 minutes for she’s up quite a bit early today.

November 9, 2008During the time I transferred this brown tie on the lightning McQueen toy car of my baby, he doesn’t stop whining. Why? He remembered one of his Tonka toy trucks on which he’s using while we roam around our community. And he loves the noises while pulling that truck. So with this Lightning McQueen toy car, maybe he is thinking that I will bring him outside for a walk. But I said to him that it’s cold out there and it’s not good for him to bring her toy outside for he and his toy will freeze. But, he keeps on pulling my arms which is an indication that he REALLY wants to have a walk outside. I don’t give in to what he wants since it’s not good for him to be out.

These photos represent my baby’s interests in gadgets. I guess this is the first time I let him play with my 12 mega pixels digital camera. At first, he likes the flashes but after several minutes of clicking it, he just throws it away. Well, I can’t blame him since he doesn’t know that it’s an expensive thing. I let him play with the camera to divert his attention away from the food that he is eating because he is a picky eater. And anything that’s safe for him to hold and play, I will give it to him. This moment, the one that I think it’s safe for him is my precious camera. Sigh!
Toddler Sofa – will last longer or not?
October 28, 2008This is the new sofa of my baby. It’s leather but it’s not USA made. How I wish it’s US made! Anyway, we bought this at one of the famous stores here in our place thinking that it’s durable and will last longer. When we were home and after my husband cut off the tag, I saw a cut on the left side. Well, no choice we can’t return it since the tag is cut and also it’s our fault for not checking each sides and the bottom for some factory defects. Anyway, my baby is enjoying it for its new and it’s soft to use aside from its cute looking. When my baby is sleeping, I checked it again and I find out that the foot of the sofa is detached. Whew! With the price of more than $80, it’s destroyed easily. With the soft wood that’s being used how could it last longer?
So, my tip for those parents who wants to buy things for their babies, before paying, you should check it over again so that when you will be home the things that you bought don’t have factory defects. Also, check for the durability so that you will not experience those things that we come across.

October 24, 2008This is about my baby again. He sounds funny as I forgot to pick up his dirty diaper. Upon throwing it outside our gate that separates the living room and the kitchen, he said DITI. And I guess he means dirty for that word. I also ask him to give me his cloth and I said thank you. He also replied KAM-KAM. I guess that’s bb talk for welcome. My baby is so funny though super KULIT. He-he-he!
