Let’s eat apple
February 1, 2010I am back with eating apple today! YEHEYYY! It’s good that we visited in one of the wholesale stores here in our place last weekend and I found packs of apple that looks like Fuji apple. It taste yummy but Fuji is more delicious. Anyhow, it doesn’t matter since this thing is not that acidic and I am not complaining with stomach problem. Hmmm, let’s eat?
Yellow and green squash
December 27, 2008At home, my family will usually give squash to those who will ask. But here in CO Springs, we will buy since we can’t grow squash inside our house. It’s kind of expensive every time I will think that in PH this is just for free. Anyway, with that yellow and green squash, I choose the smallest of the green one for my baby.

Expensive yellow bananas
December 27, 2008Expensive yellow bananas! At home, this is just for free since my family plants lots of like these. I just choose 6 pieces since this is 67 cents per pounds. I want to buy also the pineapple but I’m lazy in peeling so I’d rather closed my eyes on it. I just choose the yellow bananas but not for me since it’s for my baby.

Pomelo (grapefuit) & lemons
December 27, 2008When we’re inside the grocery, we usually head first on the fruit and vegetable sections. Husband asks me if I need some apple since the brand that I like is available. And I said no for some apple. He then asked me if I want grapefruit. When I checked its still color green, so I said I want to buy one. The price is kind of high that’s why I just choose one. And we paid like 5 dollars for one grapefruit/pomelo. I also, choose like 10 pieces for this lemon for my cooking.

The king crab
December 27, 2008This is the king crab we recently bought. And during this day, the grocery is so busy that all of the push carts are being used. My husband just went back to the parking area to check if there are vacant push carts. Anyway, we’re having a hard time choosing the things that we need to buy since it’s like a bumper to bumper thing. Until the time we finished our grocery shopping, so we go to the counter to pay for all the goods that we choose. Since it’s so busy, the bagger tries to put everything in the grocery plastic since the cashier is also fast in swiping, counting and summing up our groceries. But when the package of the crab reached the bagger’s side, due to trying to put everything as fast as she could, the bagger forgets that she’s holding the crab. She felt something painful. When she look at her finger, she’s wounded and it’s like half an inch. Though it’s not deep but I know it hurts her. It’s bleeding and she then asked a band aid from the counter to protect the wound. I said sorry to her and she said that it’s not my fault. She said, it’s her fault and she needs to be careful the next time she will put crabs in the grocery bags. After we paid everything, I just said Merry Christmas to her and she smiled back at me.

Choco cakes
December 27, 2008This is one of my favorite foods – chocolate cakes. I can remember when I was still pregnant I can eat as many boxes as I can in one day. The result is I reached 150lbs and more before I gave birth. I am having a hard time losing weight but thanks God; I trimmed down to 120lbs. Right now, even if I am below that, I’m still trying to have my 97lbs weight. Sometimes I will be below 110lbs but sometimes I will struggle back to 115lbs and almost 120lbs. But I’m hoping that I will be back to below 100lbs since that’s a very comfy weight considering that I’m petite.

Stir fry rice and vegetables – I love it :D
December 26, 2008I just love eating this stir fry rice and vegetables. I don’t know about this food. It’s just my husband who tried buying it once and I said to him that I like it so much. From that time on, he keeps on buying this every time he will buy groceries. This is just affordable like 1 dollar a piece. And sometimes he will buy five pieces, 10 pieces or even more. And I thank him for choosing this food for me. It’s just so yummy!

Baked fish with crescent rounds
November 23, 2008This girl’s favorite thing during cooking time is cooking baked fish. It’s easy and every time she will do it, mostly it will be cooked well and her husband will love it. The ingredients for bake fish is simply a piece of fish, butter and lemon. It will just be place on a pan with a non-stick skillet and she will bake it for 20-30 minutes. But before taking it out, she will place a Place n bake crescent rounds for it needs to be baked around 10-12 minutes at a 275F oven temperature. And tonight, that’s what she’s cooking for her husband.
Thanks for the KFC Dinner :))
November 13, 2008I’m so glad my husband bought KFC Chicken Fried steak tonight. Though it’s not Wednesday but he bought it. I guess he forgot that the price is higher when it’s regular days. Well, by him purchasing our dinner, it saves me time in cooking. Thanks God! He-he-he! Wish, he is like this all the time.
Pancit canton w/shrimps & veges
November 8, 2008This is what I had a while ago. I can’t help myself but eat a lot. This is my pancit canton mixed with shrimps, vegetables, lemon juice and hard-boiled egg toppings. I used olive oil in cooking this one since my baby also loves to eat this pancit canton. But I’m the only one eating that one paper plate of pancit canton since it has egg and my baby is allergy with eggs. I guess I’ll just have to cook another pancit when we can shop at Pinoy store again. Anyway, this is so yummy-licious!

Ingredients:
Pancit canton, onion, garlic, olive oil, shrimps, lemon, red bell pepper, onion leaf, carrots, cabbage, hard-boiled eggs.
